About Us

Founded in 2013, CB Mining is an independent family-owned corporation headquartered in Washington, Pennsylvania. Initially part of the Caterpillar mining group, we are now a proud independent corporation focused on underground mining, primarily supporting longwall operations. Over the years, CB Mining has expanded from two locations in Pennsylvania to four, including new facilities in Marion, Illinois, and Duncanville, Alabama. 

CB Mining specializes in a wide range of product support services, including rebuild services, CST gearbox rebuilds, welding and fabrication services, and the provision of service exchange units. In addition to custom-made cabling solutions, life cycle management services like oil sampling and vibration analysis, and a robust inventory that supports our commitment to enhancing mining operations. 

Further, we offer extensive machining, chroming, laser cladding, and hydraulic repairs in collaboration with our valued partner, CB HYMAC, a division of Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. As CB Mining continues to grow and serve the specialized needs of the underground mining industry, we remain focused on delivering valuable independent solutions.
